João Pohl is a graduated graphic designer and also a contemporary jeweler. Brazilian, born in a small and peaceful town in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, he had his first contacts with nature and animals when he was still very young, on his grandfather's farm. His intense connection with rural life made him fall in love with the textures, shapes and teachings that come from nature.

Pohl says that his work is the result of his memories, ancestral and childhood experiences, combined  with the concepts of design and mixed techniques of jewelry.

The Pohl studio is an extension of my souls and my creativity. It's an unconscious free thought flow of my drawings that comes from travel, art, love, family and self expression.
